Welcome to Top Flight Aviation "Instrument Class" on the Web. This course will help you prepare for both the Instrument Written Test and the Instrument Flight Practical Test. Our main goal is not to just prepare you for the tests, but to give you the information you need to be a safe and responsible Instrument Pilot. So, if you are already an Instrument Pilot looking to refresh your IMC (Instrument Meteorological Condition) skills, this class is the right place to be.
This web site will augment the classroom material and give you sessions to work on during the week between classes. This will not only help reinforce the material we cover in class, but help you to get the most from your investment in this training.
This course is intended to improve your piloting skills and teach you to "trust the instruments" while flying in IMC. We will provide the environment to learn about aircraft systems, weather, cross country navigation, approaches (including GPS) and finally, filing your own IFR flight plans.
Welcome to the World of IMC.
